Naval Air Station Pensacola

17 June, 1922 - Training schools for Naval Aviators and Naval Aviation Pilots to be conducted in accordance with syllabus approved by the bureal of Navigation 9 April 1922.  Training schools for Naval Aviation Observers.   

Operating allowance of planes as follows:

  • 30 - Single engine seaplanes; (primary training type).
  • 22 - Single engine seaplanes; (Gunnery training type).
  • 6 - Single engine torpedo and bombing planes.
  • 15 - Twin engine seaplanes.
  • 20 - Single engine airplanes; (primary land training type).
  • 8 - Single engine spotting planes.
  • 8 - Single engine combat training planes.

25 June 1923 -

Operating allowance of planes as follows:

  • 50 Training seaplanes (combined primary and gunnery).
  • 6 Single-engine torpedo and bombing airplanes.
  • 15 Twin-engine seaplanes.
  • 20 Single-engine airplanes (primary land training type).
  • 8 Single-engine spotting airplanes.
  • 8 Single-engine combat training airplanes.
