Naval Air Station Anacostia

17 June, 1922 - Test  work in the air required for the development of aircraft types and aircraft accessories excepoting accessories under the cognizance of the Bureau of Ordance, and excepting such work as can be performed more conveniently by units of the Fleet Aircraft Squadrons, or at other stations. 

Operating allowance:

• 2 - Twin engine seaplanes.
• 2 - Single engine seaplanes.
• 4 - Single engine airplanes.
• 1 - Photography plane.
• 1 - Radio airplane (added 25 June 1923)

25 June 1923 - Such new or ecperimental type airplanes, for test flying, as may be desired by the Bureau of Aeronautics (approximately ten at a time).
